Family of 5

This weekend i told tom we NEEDED to get at least one picture of our family. we dont even have 1 since the boys have been born of all 5 of us.

so I had julie snap some pics with my camera for me. Can i just say that D loves to have me take pics of her at home but once we're outside trying to actually get a picture - she does not like it!

even bribing with candy didnt work very well.

Friday we went up to McMinnville to stay at mom and dads for the weekend to watch conference with them. Its always nice to go up there, at least for me, so i can have a little help with the kiddos and for the company of adults! Saturday after General Conference we all headed to the Pumpkin Patch. There was a hayride, a barn full of animals (which we didnt end up going to! darn), a bounce "pumpkin" house, tractors to ride, and slides. D had a blast and well, she threw the BIGGEST fit when she had to leave. The boys did good too. thank goodness for baby carriers!

we had our first wic appt this week - (first outing with all kids by myself and it ended with me crying. never again!)

anyways just wanted to let you all know that these boys are growing! at 10 weeks they are 

Colton: 10lb 3oz and 20 3/4 inches

Kempton: 9 lb 2 oz and 20 5/8 inches

and D is growing too! - 37 lbs and 38 1/2 inches (approx... she didnt cooperate very well!)

C loves to smile. he does it when we kiss his lips and early in the morning when the boys cometo my bed when tom leaves in the morning. it took me forever to get it on camera, but i finally did when he was in his swing (we finally got batteries for it and c loves it!)

K smiles mostly when hes falling asleep but ive seen him give me an actual smile once so far. im sure he will be smiling lots very soon!

what happens when you have a baby x 2? well sometimes you just cant do things at one time for both babies. especially with a 3 year old in the mix. 

this is what happened the other night while i was trying to do something for D and the boys were screaming to be fed.  i think she was heading to the time out corner to be honest. shes been a stinker lately.

so i had to improvise.

but hey, it works.

ps. this is the one good thing about bottle feeding. 

And this was the boys the other night. i didnt realize i placed their binkies right in the same spot. They really look like twinners in this pic.
