A Little present for tom.. well More for baby!

So when we found out we were going to have our little girl, I told tom that we could get maybe one camo piece of clothing for her as long as it looked girly (none of this pink camo stuff though from wal-mart, if you know what im talking about) well today i happened to go to Sportsmans with emily and bekah so emily could try on hiking boots, well i was like OH! i should go look at baby clothes. They had some cute onsies but ugly sayings on them. Then i found a dress, matching booties and diaper cover/bloomer things. I decided i would buy them and surprise tom. I hope he likes them or is at least happy about it!! I think theyre pretty cute the more i look at the outfit! here is a picture to show!

Our Trip to Oregon!

During the week between semesters, we decided to make a trip to Oregon and visit tom's family. It was a lot of fun and great to be with family and away from Rexburg. There was amazing weather the whole time we were there (minus one colder rainy day)but the rest of the time it was up in the 70s and even got into the 80s! the grass was SOO green and fresh and there were tulips and flowers blooming everywhere (which was not good for my allergies!) We left late tuesday night and stayed in boise with tom's aunt and then made the rest of the trip the next day. We got in wednesday afternoon and that night we went to the pool and BOY do i love the smell of chlorine. Luckily my bathingsuit from last summer which was too big pretty much fit my belly. Thursday tom's family threw me a baby shower and iwas so grateful to get a lot of cute clothes and what not from them! gotta love family! Friday it was a little rainy but we went to the coast and went to the tillamook cheese factory (yumm!) and then went to the outlets and got such good deals on such cute baby girl clothes! then we went to Mo's to eat for tom's dads birthday. That was yummy as well! Saturday we had a big breakfast with family and had an easter egg hunt with all the little kids and then Bonnie, betsy and kaylee and I went and got pedicures... now Ive only gotten one pedicure before this and it was kinda crappy, im not going to lie and it was like 3 years ago, so i was pretty excited but not really sure what to expect. THanks betsy for buying me a pedicure! It felt soo good to get my back massaged while my feet were getting pampared. I just looked funny with a huge belly. We also did a girls day pretty much going out to Dragon Gate (finally, some good chinese!! none found in rexburg..) while the boys did other things.

Ohhh yeah sunday was our one year anniversary!! WOO HOO 1 year done! many more to go. This year has been full of different things.. marriage and a baby on the way along with school and work. We've had it pretty good though so if it is going to be the hardest year, we got it easy for the many to come.... but we will see : ) That day we went to stake conf... got home at a nice lunch/dinner, took bonnie and adam to the airport and then tom and i went to the cheesecake factory (which we both have never been to). The food we got was AMAZZZZING and i HAD to get the godiva chocolate cheesecake which was also delish. We left monday morning REALLY early to head back to rexburg. Luckily i was so tired i was passed out for most of the carride so i wasnt too uncomfortable!

Oh did i mention that there is a 7-11 there(unlike here in rexburg) therefor i got at least 2 slurpees a day! IT WAS AMAZING!

ALMOST 28 weeks.

Some people have been asking me for belly updates and since im doing them every four weeks, I figured I would take one today, although Im not 28 weeks till Wed but we'll driving to Oregon then. My stomach is SOOO incredibly tight and i get SO incredibly uncomfortable. Today in church she was SO high like up in my ribs and it hurt to move. We've been feeling her move more (and seeing!) and we try to figure out different body parts... we think we were able to feel her head today as well. We also got this bebesounds monitor thing where you can listen to your baby's heartbeat/hiccups and kicks. Obviously its not as clear as a doppler but i got it to work and heard her kick and if you listen carefully you can hear her heartbeat go SUPER fast! Other than that... i still pee all the time and have had the WORST back pains ever! I figured i would get lower back pains because of the extra weight but its ALL in my upper back, im not sure if its from a growing chest or what but it hurts OH so bad! We did get to go to Green Canyon hot springs last week where they have a regular swimming pool that was amazing to get into because the weight was lifted off my hips. I sat down on the step in the hottub and that felt amazing even though the water only went up to my hips. Also, i dont have any stretch marks yet.. although i think some MAY be starting to come in so i rub on that cocoa butter constantly! Also... the weirdest thing, is my belly button. Its starting to poke out a little and ican make it poke out if i flex my stomach or when i try to sit up when laying down. It makes me laugh and tom cant help but star at it. But yes, I feel like im getting much bigger, and i think it depends on what im wearing, but here is a pic we tok today and it was windy outside so please excuse my whacko face and hair.

did i mention that I am SOO excited to go to OREGON for a few days!?!?! We'll be driving to Boise after work on tuesday and stay the night at tom's aunts house and then drive the rest of the way to OR on wed. we'll stay to either sunday or monday, not sure yet. Next sunday (the 19th) will be our One Year Anniversary! holy cow it has flown by. I wonder how our marriage will continue on since they usually say the first year is the hardest, but i honestly dont think it was that hard so hopefully only easier ones to come!

oh, yes... also... I have a college degree!!! even though it is only an associates degree, it is still something (and an accomplishment, according to tom!) He was a little annoyed that I didnt walk at graduation and i didnt think getting an associates was a very big deal and would only walk for a bachelors but he kept saying that an assicoaites was still a big accomplishment! Im glad to know that he is proud of me :) I also started my new job at the new child care center and its going pretty slow since we've just started and I hope we get more clients soon! Im just glad ill get a good break from school! Well.. this will probably be the last post until we get back from Oregon and hopefully we'll have lots of pictures!

I couldnt help but watch it this morning and laugh some more and thought I would share. Poor soldiers. Just take a look at them trying to do their jumping jacks... hahaha.
